An elderly man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after allegedly beating up his son for urinating in his couch, police in Connecticut said.

Norwalk police said that they have arrested 68-year-old Ernest Dumas, after getting into a fighting match with his 44-year-old son for urinating on his couch on Sunday morning.

Dumas and 44-year-old Tranice Wooten, both of 162 South Main Street, were charged with disorderly conduct. According to the police investigation, officers responded to the home on a report of a disturbance around 10:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to Dumas, who said that his son urinated on his couch. Wooten allegedly threatened to burn the house and truck belonging to Dumas.

Dumas pushed Wooten, and Wooten assaulted his father. Wooten told police that he accidentally urinated on the couch.

Wooten said that he suffers from occasional bedwetting.
