(Scroll down for video) A squirrel was detained and thrown into jail for harassing a woman, police in Germany said.

Berlin police said that they had to detain the aggressive squirrel after being accused of following the woman for several minutes.

Police received a call from the young woman on Wednesday, complaining that while walking down the street, she realized that the squirrel was following her.

Unable to shake the animal off, she called the police for help and officers hurried to help her. They detained the squirrel and took it to the police station, where it was determined that it was suffering from exhaustion.

Police posted a video on their Facebook page on Wednesday, showing an officer feeding honey to the small squirrel. Police said that the squirrel will be transferred to a rescue center once it has recovered its strength.
