Two girls were left traumatized after they were robbed while selling lemonade.
The man of Riverside, California, was arrested Wednesday, after he robbed a lemonade stand in Rancho Cucamonga.
18-year-old Santini Tate was arrested for robbing the lemonade stand run by two 13-year-old girls.
When Tate walked passed the lemonade stand, he told the girls that he did not have money so they gave him lemonade for free.
He took the cup of lemonade and proceeded to flip over their stand before stealing $30 from them. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
As Tate escaped, the brother of one of the girls chased him and recovered the money box. Unfortunately, it was empty and Tate managed to escape.
The girls called police and reported the theft.
A police officer spotted Tate, and he was arrested on charges of theft. He allegedly committed other petty crimes earlier in the day.
