(Scroll down for video) A mail delivery person was caught on surveillance video breaking into a woman’s home and wearing her boots.
The suspect of New Hampshire, was arrested for allegedly breaking into the house on his route.
The homeowner of Piscataqua Road in Dover, recently installed a motion-sensitive surveillance camera that sends an alert to her phone if someone is inside the house.
On Wednesday morning, the homeowner was alerted to an intruder. When the homeowner checked her surveillance footage, she saw the suspect inside the home and wearing her boots.
According to Lt. Brant Dolleman, the suspect, who was identified as 39-year-old Richard Ringer, did not take anything from the home.
The woman called police and the suspect was arrested.
The homeowner said that the boots were kept in a box under the bed. The surveillance video shows the suspect finding the boots quickly after entering the home.
The homeowner said that this suggests that he had broken into her house before and looked around as he knew the boots were in her room.
Police are concerned that there may be other houses Ringer broke into while delivering mail.
Ringer of Raymond, was charged with two counts of criminal trespass. He was released after posting $2,500 bail.
