Uber driver threatens to slit woman’s throat for canceling trip

A woman in the United Kingdom, said that she is extremely nervous after an Uber driver left her a massage on her voicemail threatening to slit her throat for canceling a trip.

28-year-old Anna Kealey of London, was threatened with being killed and was called an idiot.

Kealey said that she heard the message five days after canceling the trip and she feels very nervous. She complained to Uber, asking that the driver immediately be fired and taken off the road.

Kealey had booked the private car at 11:00 a.m., to meet friends, but she canceled the trip after a few minutes. She canceled that trip because she suffers from panic attacks and began feeling anxious.

She decided to walk to meet her friends. Kealey contacted the police about the incident. Uber said that the driver was immediately suspended.
