(Scroll down for video) A sick woman in California, is crediting her disease for looking like a Barbie doll.
28-year-old Amber Guzman said that as a teen, she began to experience the first symptoms of muscular dystrophy.
As she grew weaker, she realized that she could use her love of makeup to morph her debilitating disease into a lifestyle.
Guzman said that she loves her life of living like doll, and she is very happy.
With her weak legs, her husband and her family have to help her do everything. She always needs to be picked up and moved.
Guzman said that she never had any plastic surgery, and credits her makeup skills and love of Barbie for looking like a realistic human Barbie.
Muscular dystrophy is a genetic condition that progressively weakens and wastes the muscles. There is no cure for the disease.
The disorder makes it difficult for her to swallow food, which causes her to have a tiny body frame just like a Barbie doll.
