(Scroll down for video) A shirtless man played the banjo for a SWAT team while they attempted to arrest him.

The man of Vancouver, Washington, was wanted after he tried to stab his father during an argument.

The father called police after he managed to escape from the home unharmed.

Officers were called to the 8500 block of NE 36th Circle around 3:30 p.m., on a report of a naked man walking around with a knife. When they reached the house of the man, he refused to surrender.

The man, who was identified by police as Andrew Helmsworth, finally came out of the house without his shirt, but not to surrender as he started to play the banjo.

When Helmsworth turned back to go into the house, officers shot him with what appeared to be a Taser, and took him into custody.

Helmsworth was arrested on a charge of felony assault and was booked in the Clark County Jail.
