A woman who was angry after police officers posed for pictures with her adult toy, filed a lawsuit against a police department for violating her rights, according to court documents in Canada.
The incident began when police raided the home of 33-year-old Michael David Hilchey and 37-year-old Jocelyn Leanne Judith Hilchey, after they were accused of selling drugs.
The couple claimed that agents of the Halifax Regional Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), violated their rights during the raid by taking pictures with the adult toy in order to humiliate them.
The couple also accused police of stealing $22,350. Hilchey pleaded guilty to possession of 47 grams of pure cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
He was sentenced to serve two years in prison, minus the 164 days he has already served awaiting trial.
