(Scroll down for video) A drunk and lonely man died after jumping of a boat and refusing to grab a life ring because he doesn’t have any friends, police in Wisconsin said.
Milwaukee police announced that they are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who jumped from a cruise ship on the Milwaukee River on Saturday, and disappeared into the water.
The man was described as being around 50 years old with a small build. He had a shaved head and tattoos on both biceps.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark pants, a brown hat and a necklace. The man was one of the 134 passengers on the tour boat Miss Wisconsin, but had no friends.
Around 90 minutes into the cruise, the man jumped overboard and started swimming. He refused to take the life ring that was thrown at him and at one point, he went underwater and did not surface again.
A search and rescue team looked for the man, but he was not found.
