A witness called the Pennsylvania police after a mother and her adult daughter were seen shooting heroin in a car that was stopped at a gas station.

Police found a 6-month-old boy in the back seat of the car. Karen Gillepsie, 43, and her daughter, 23-year-old Courtney Jording, were arrested after Jording was seen plunging a needle into her mother’s arm.

The baby in the car is Jording’s son, police said. Officers found no diapers in the car, but they did find 41 bags of heroin while 16 bags of heroin were already empty.

The mother and daughter were taken to the Westmoreland County Jail, where bail was set at $10,000 each.

The baby is now in the custody of his paternal grandparents.
