(Scroll down for video) A woman is devastated after her babysitter sold most of her belongings.

Police said that the babysitter and her daughter sold all the belongings after calling a radio show to announce the sale.

The babysitter, Estelle Ard, 64, and her daughter, Cathy, 27, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, are accused of selling all the belongings after Cathy told people on the radio station that her brother was dying of cancer and she needs to empty out the house.

Joanie Knight was shocked when she came home from work to discover that most of their belongings were gone.

“They cleaned out my house. Everything we have worked so hard for was sold,” said Knight. The thieves sold her refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer, television and sofa among other items.

Police said that Estelle took the children to a nearby park, while her daughter was at the house selling all the valuable items.

Police arrested Cathy, and are now looking to arrest her mother, who claims that she had no knowledge of the theft, as well as 2 other people who are believed to be involved.

The homeowner said that after learning about the theft, some people returned what they bought from her home. However, most of her brand-new appliances were not returned.
