60-year-old mayor unknowingly hires male prostitute who is sick with HIV

(Scroll down for video) A mayor was arrested on a charge of patronizing a prostitute after allegedly hiring a male prostitute who is sick with HIV, police in Indiana, said.

Batesville police said that they have arrested 60-year-old Richard C. Fledderman, after being accused of hiring 42-year-old Randy Wigle-Stevens for sexual services.

Wigle-Stevens was also arrested and charged with prostitution, intimidation and failure to disclose a dangerous contagious disease.

According to the police investigation, Wigle-Stevens did not tell Fledderman about his HIV status before engaging in sexual acts.

Later, Wigle-Stevens blackmailed Fledderman after the sexual encounter, asking for money in exchange for keeping quiet about the affair.
