(Scroll down for video) A journalist in the United Kingdom, announced that she uploaded sexy photos of herself on the Internet, in order to better understand the consequences of revenge porn.

44-year-old Anna Richardson of London, put her body on the line in preparation for a Channel 4 documentary to show how damaging revenge porn can be for the victims.

Richardson explained that anyone who has ever taken a sexy photo, can be at risk. Revenge porn happens when someone maliciously shares sexual intimate photos without consent.

There are specific revenge porn websites where exes can upload photos without consent of the other party. In most cases, addresses and phone numbers are also revealed.

Within hours, the victim begins getting harassing phone calls from strangers. Once these images are on the Internet, they can never be taken down.

Most videos end up on adult websites.

Richardson said that the only way to truly understand revenge porn was to experience it, so she decided to take some pornographic pictures of herself and share it on social media websites.

Within four days of placing the images online, it had 100,000 views and a lot of comments.
