Man beats up brother and destroys home because he was not given McDonald’s sandwich

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly beating up his brother because he was not given a McDonald’s sandwich, police in Pennsylvania said.

Union Township police said that they have arrested 47-year-old Thomas Veres, after being accused of destroying his brother’s house located at 6070 Pleasant Street.

Veres was charged with harassment and assault after the incident around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. He was booked into the Washington County jail, and his bail was set at $2,500.

According to the police investigation, Thomas Veres was furious when he came home and found his brother, 58-year-old Matthew Veres, had eaten the three McDonald’s sandwiches and did not save one for him.

Police said that Thomas Veres ransacked the house, knocking over furniture and appliances, and threw food. Matthew Veres suffered bruises on his right eye and left cheek.

He also suffered cuts on his ears.
