(Scroll down for video) A restaurant that is famous for throwing dinner rolls at customers, was slapped with a lawsuit after a woman claimed that she was severely injured, according to court documents in Missouri.
Lambert’s Cafe of Sikeston, was sued by Troy Tucker, claiming that she was injured as servers threw a dinner roll in her face.
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday. According to the complaint, Tucker suffered a lacerated cornea as well as injuries to the head, neck and eyes.
She claims that her vision was severely damaged. Tucker is seeking $25,000 to cover medical expenses and legal fees. She said that the restaurant employees were careless and negligent.
However, Tucker should have known the dangers of entering the restaurant as the practice of throwing dinner rolls is widely known.
The general manager of the cafe apologized to Tucker, saying that servers never intended to hurt her.
