(Scroll down for video) Police officers in Florida, announced a reward of $3,000 for information about a 7-year-old girl who stole alcohol.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office released a surveillance video, showing a mother teaching her young daughter to steal the liquor at a store in Pembroke Park.

Detectives are now searching for this shoplifting girl, who is said to be about 7 years old, and her mother. Police are offering a reward for information on the pair.

Police were called to the 24/7 Liquors store around 3:30 p.m., after a customer alerted the clerks that a young girl had just stolen a bottle of liquor.

The clerks confronted the mother, who was waiting on line to pay for a cheap item. She went out to a car, then returned and told the clerk the her daughter did not steal anything.

Security video shows the woman instructing the child what to steal. She then walked away from the child. The girl attempted to lift a large bottle of liquor, but found it to be too heavy. The woman then told the child to go back and take a smaller bottle.

The child returned to the shelves and selected a smaller 750 ml bottle of 1800 Silver Tequila. She attempted to place it inside her purse, but it did not fit.

So she hid it behind her back and walked to the front of the store. The girl stood by the register until the woman was able to block the clerk’s view.

Then she quickly left the store. The young girl then got into a car in the parking lot and waited for her mother to exit the store.
