(Scroll down for video) A man is angry after his son was seen blowing into a breathalyzer test for his wife.
The mother of Florida, was arrested after she used her 4-year-old son was to deceive her husband, who installed the breathalyzer in his car.
Police were called to a bar in Apopka, after a manager saw April King entering the bar and drink beer while her two children, ages 2 and 4, sat outside in her car.
When police arrived, King, who was at her car, told the officer that she had just arrived.
A video recorded by the officer’s body cam showed King’s 4-year-old son grabbing the breathalyzer and blowing into it.
King’s husband said that he installed the breathalyzer because his wife has a drinking problem. He also said that she had been to a rehab a number of times.
“She returned home from rehab just 3 weeks ago, obviously she hasn’t learned anything from it,” the husband, Doug King, said.
“I think this is probably the best thing for her,” he added.
King was charged with child endangerment for leaving her children in the car. Police did not charge her with drunk driving because they could not prove that she was driving while intoxicated.
