Warsaw police said that they arrested the 33-year-old unidentified man of the United Kingdom, after threatening a bank teller with a gun that was drawn on a piece of paper.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Tuesday around 9:00 a.m. at the bank located on Jerozolimskie Avenue.
The foreigner went straight to one of the tellers and pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, revealing a picture of a gun to the employee.
He then brandished a second sheet of paper, on which he had written a warning: “This is a robbery. I have a gun. Give me all the money.”
The man was told to wait in the back of the line, and the robber calmly walked to the back of the line to wait for his turn.
Meanwhile, the teller called the police and the robber was arrested.
