A man was arrested for throwing urine onto a teenage boy.
The 84-year-old man of Evansville, Indiana, faces battery charges after police said he threw a bowl of urine on the head of the teenager.
Charles Weatherford was arrested on Saturday afternoon, after he got into an argument with the 13-year-old boy who smashed some bricks on his property.
During the argument, the teenager was allegedly disrespectful to the elderly man. In retaliation, Weatherford poured urine on the boy.
Police were called after Weatherford poured the urine on the 13-year-old boy from the second floor of his house.
The child’s mother called officers to report that her son had been “assaulted with bodily waste,” the report said.
Police reported a “strong smell of urine” in front of his house.
When officers questioned Weatherford, he said that he was angry after the boy called him names. He also admitted that he “keeps a bowl of urine stored on his balcony for self defense.”
It is unknown whether the urine in the container belonged to a human or an animal.
Weatherford was charged with battery by communicable bodily fluid/waste, and battery on a victim under the age of 14.
He was freed from jail after posting $750 bail.
