(Scroll down for video) A man in Dallas, Texas, revealed that his crazy idea morphed into a real business, earning him around $10,000 per month.
Alex Craig first spoke to his girlfriend about his idea over dinner one night earlier this year, and her immediate reaction was that it is stupid.
Craig did not back down, and a few months later, PotatoParcel was launched. PotatoParcel charges customers between $8 and $10 for a potato, depending on its size.
The company adds a personalized message on it with a pen and mails it anonymously to the recipient. Craig revealed that it takes him about 30 seconds to write the message on the potato.
Recently, the company has announced plans to expand into international markets, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
