Woman shoplifts frozen clams and stuffs them down her pants because she is homeless

A woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after allegedly shoplifting a box of frozen clams and stuffing them down her pants, police in Florida said.

Palm Bay police said that they arrested 52-year-old Debra Marceau, after being accused shoplifting items from a Publix supermarket and stuffing the down her pants.

According to the police investigation, Marceau went to the freezer section of the Publix located on Malabar Road, opened a box of frozen clams and placed them in the front of her pants.

Marceau also tried to put $45 worth of items in her purse, including a frozen pizza pie. Marceau told police that she took the food without paying for it because she is homeless and disabled.

In April, a woman was caught on video wrestling with a security guard who attempted to detain her for shoplifting.

The bizarre incident between the topless woman and the security guard occurred inside the Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

After several minutes of fighting, an Oklahoma City police officer arrived at the scene. According to the police report, the woman, Heather Lynn Hall, had entered the clothing store Buckle, and tried to steal merchandise by hiding it in a Dillard’s shopping bag.
