Plane passengers in the United Kingdom, complained that they were forced to sit near vomit on a Ryanair flight.
24-year-old Noel O’Hare said that he was forced to sit next to the vomit left there by a passenger of a previous flight.
O’Hare was flying from Gatwick to Dublin, Ireland, on Sunday.
After sitting down in his seat, O’Hare noticed the smell and mess on the floor next to him. O’Hare alerted the flight attendants, but he was told that the mess could not be cleaned.
The cabin crew said that because their cleaning crew is in Dublin, the mess cannot be cleaned until they arrive there.
O’Hare said that Ryanair apologize for the inconvenience on Facebook.
“We sincerely regret this incident that was caused by a shortage of cleaners at the airport in Gatwick. The cabin crew blocked the row in order to minimize any delay of the return flight, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the company said in a statement.
