The credit card of 27-year-old Josh Duggar, the former leading figure of the Family Research Council in the U.S., was used on Ashley Madison.
As the executive director of the council, Duggar promoted traditional marriage.
Leaked data shows that Duggar spent $986.76 on Ashley Madison, which is a website dedicated to married people who are seeking to have affairs.
Earlier this year, Duggar was forced to resign from the Family Research Council, after allegations surfaced that he had sexually abused five girls including his four sisters.
Duggar admitted that when he was a young teen, he acted inexcusably towards his family and friends. Duggar has even confessed his crimes to the police, but no charges have been filed.
His wife issued a statement, saying that she forgave Duggar.
