A police officer in the United Kingdom, was jailed after he was found guilty of misconduct in a public office.

The court heard that PC Darren Heath, had a habit of having sex with vulnerable women whom he met while on duty.

Helen Dunn, 31, of Gloucester, was one of 3 women who had sex with the 45-year-old married father.

PC Darren Heath began pursuing Dunn after she contacted police to report finding an unconscious man on the street.

The officer repeatedly called the 31-year-old woman until she agreed to go out with him.

Heath told Dunn that he was single and often went over to her home for sex while on duty with the Gloucestershire police.

When Helen became pregnant with twins, Heath dropped the bombshell, and finally told her that he is married and he has two children.

The officer then threatened to commit suicide if she does not abort the pregnancy. He then dropped the woman off at the clinic.

Dunn said that when she heard she was having twins, she did not want to go through with the abortion. However, after she left the clinic, the officer pressured her into having the abortion.

Heath broke up with his lover just hours after having the abortion. He was jailed for 3 years and 9 months at the Bristol Crown Court after admitting five counts of misconduct in public office.

“I still think about the twins every day and wish the circumstances had been different. No amount of time can ever bring them back,” Dunn said.
