(Scroll down for video) A mother left her baby outside a shopping center strapped in a car seat.
The mother of Phoenix, Arizona, forgot her baby in a shopping cart outside in 100 degrees heat, police said.
A passerby alerted the staff members at the Gilbert Supercuts to the 4-month-old baby boy, who was outside strapped in a car seat in the grocery shopping cart in front of the store.
The hairdressers brought the baby inside and called 911 about 12:00 p.m. Police said that the mother returned to the store about 40 minutes later. She was in panic after realizing that she left the grocery store with only two of her three children.
The baby was not injured and was handed over to his parents. Police did not file charges, but they notified the Department of Child Safety about the incident.
