A man was arrested for sexually assaulting a student who trusted him.
The elementary school custodian in Florida, has been arrested on a charge of sexual abuse.
56-year-old Jose Coello worked as head custodian at Cypress Elementary School in Kissimmee.
Coello is accused of going to the house of the 12-year-old girl to “check on her.” He then entered the home without permission, according to the police report.
Coello and the girl were on friendly terms and he had visited her family in the past. Once in the room with the girl, Coello allegedly performed a lewd act. The girl shouted at him to leave the house.
Coello was arrested and charged with obtaining access to a home under false pretenses, battery, and lewd or lascivious conduct.
Although Coello denied any wrongdoing, he resigned from his job at the school, where he worked for 11 years.
