(Scroll down for video) A college student who was arrested on a charge of drunk driving for allegedly driving drunk and lost her driver’s license, decided to buy a children’s car and use it to drive around the Texas State University campus.

20-year-old Tara Monroe was driving home from a Waka Flocka concert when she was pulled over by police.

The police demanded that she take a breathalyzer test, but Monroe refused. As a result, her driver’s license was suspended.

Monroe’s father confiscated her car, leaving her with a bicycle to get around campus.

Monroe said that since riding around campus with a bike sucks, she decided to purchase a children’s car and use it as a means of transportation.

Monroe checked out Craigslist, where she found a pink Barbie Jeep for $60.

The battery powered car can only travel at speeds up to five miles per hour, but that’s enough to get Monroe around on campus.

Since using the unusual means of transportation, Monroe became very popular. Monroe said that buying the Barbie doll car was the best decision she ever made in college.

Monroe was booked into jail and released after posting $3,000 bail.
