A drunk man was arrested for causing damage to property after allegedly kicking a store robot in the face because he was angry with an employee, police in Japan said.

Kanagawa police said that they have arrested 60-year-old Kiichi Ishikawa, after he flew into a rage because he didn’t like the attitude of the store employee.

The incident happened at a Softbank Corp. store location.

According to the police investigation, Ishikawa entered the store on Sunday morning, and kicked the pepper robot in the face.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to damaging the robot. The employee of the store was not injured. The manager of the store handed over surveillance video to the police, which shows the suspect kicking the robot.

The robot now moves slower and its internal computer system has been damaged.
