Gabby Holmes and Natalie Crean of Everton, said that the food are donated by green grocers, caterers and convenience stores.

All the food would have ended up in garbage bins if not for the two 23-year-old women. The owners of the restaurant said that the menu changes based on the food they receive for the day.

The sell a mix of homemade healthy dishes, including soups, bacon sandwiches and desserts. As payment, the cafe accepts donations in exchange for the food.

The goal of the cafe is to be sort of a community center and a social place, where people can come and talk. Both women have full-time jobs other than running the cafe.
