A man who is addicted to Red Bull energy drinks, was arrested on a charge of kidnapping after allegedly forcing a woman to drive to a store and buy him Red Bull, police in New Jersey said.
Paramus police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Eddie Johnson, after being accused of forcing people to buy him Red Bull energy drinks.
Johnson was charged with robbery, kidnapping and weapons possession. He was booked into the Bergen County Jail, and his bail was set at $500,000.
According to the police investigation, Johnson forced a woman to take him to a store, where he told her to buy $70 worth of Red Bull.
Last month, he stole a man’s smartphone and $30. He took the money and bought Red Bull. Last week, Johnson forced a man to withdraw $60 from two ATMs.
Johnson then ordered the man to drive to a store to buy Red Bull.
