(Scroll down for video) A man gave up his good job so that he can become the best and quickest in taking selfies.
24-year-old Bhanu Prakash quit his full time job as a research assistant in a hospital to become the world’s best in taking selfies.
Prakash of Hyderabad, India, said that he was inspired by the achievements of Dwayne Johnson, who took 105 selfies in three minutes.
The current world record holder is football player Patrick Peterson, who managed to take 1,449 selfies in one hour.
Prakash denies the claims that selfies are “a girl thing.” He claims that his personal record is now 1,700 selfies per hour, but he aims to raise the number to 1,800.
Prakash said that training in hand and wrist exercises are essential to be able to hold a phone for so long.
The 24-year-old man’s family was initially apprehensive about his decision to give up his good job to pursue his dream. However, they now supports his decision.
