(Scroll down for video) A man in Florida, became a millionaire thanks to a fortune cookie.
66-year-old Richard Davis of Boca, went to a restaurant in North Carolina, where he received a fortune cookie with a set of numbers.
The lucky numbers were 16, 26, 29, 39, 45 and 46. Davis said that he regularly used the numbers from fortune cookies until he hit the jackpot.
Davis traveled to the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, to claim his prize. Davis chose to take a lump-sum payment of $7,057,696.
The odds of winning the Florida lottery jackpot is 1 in 23 million.
Davis bought the winning ticket at Publix, which is located at 7060 W. Palmetto Park Road. The store received a bonus of $50,000 for selling the ticket.
