A young boy was taken to a hospital after his mother’s car crashed into a school bus.
Police in Indiana, said that the 9-year-old boy was in the back seat of the car when his mother suddenly jumped out of it while it was moving.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department received a call about 4:15 p.m., that a vehicle hit a school bus. Officers who arrived at the scene, found the boy lying outside a Dodge Avenger, which had collided with the bus.
The spokesperson for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, said that the boy’s mother, 35-year-old Angela K. Kipp of Syracuse, was backing out of her driveway when she suddenly jumped out of the vehicle after realizing that there was a spider on her shoulder.
However, her son was still in the van. The 9-year-old boy jumped over to the driver’s seat and attempted to stop the car.
However, he hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to collide with the passing school bus. There were no children on the bus when it crashed and the driver was not injured.
