Man pours liter of urine on police officer’s eyes and mouth

A man was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly pouring urine on a police officer who was trying to arrest him, police in Florida said.

Palm Beach County police said that the incident unfolded on Tuesday morning, as police tried to arrest 40-year-old Alfonsa J. Loftin.

According to the police investigation, when police responded to the suspect’s home located on Snead Circle, one officer was splashed with urine.

Loftin tried to harm the officer with the urine. The officers requested backup, and Loftin refused to come out from behind a wooden door.

After several hours of unsuccessful negotiations with Loftin, another officer kicked a small hole in the door. One officer then fired his Taser through the hole and it his Loftin’s thigh.

Officers then kicked down the door and released a dog to tackle the suspect. Loftin however, began to choke the dog, and officers were forced to shoot the suspect three times with a Taser.

Loftin was booked into the Palm Beach County jail. He was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest with violence.
