A woman set her mother’s house on fire after hiding her mother’s crack pipe in a closet.

Police said that 30-year-old Juliana Broverio, was arrested after she accidentally set her mother’s house on fire while her children were home.

Juliana Broverio of Florida, asked her mother to pick up her children from school and she agreed. She allegedly used that time to smoke drugs.

When her mother came home earlier than expected, Broverio decided to hide the crack pipe in a linen closet of the home.

Broverio did not remove the hot crack pipe from the closet and it caught on fire while her mother and her two children, ages 9 and 14, were inside.

Police were called to the mother’s house after a fire investigator was unable to determine the cause of the blaze.

According to the arrest report, firefighters were having trouble figuring out what caused the fire until Broverio allegedly confessed to her actions.

The fire caused about $15,000 in damages. Broverio was arrested on charges of arson, possession of drug paraphernalia and child neglect.

She is being held in the Palm Beach County jail on $16,000 bail.
