The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 40-year-old Angela Luke, a teacher at the Tussing Elementary in Pickerington, after being accused of killing her husband during a domestic dispute.
Luke was charged with vehicular homicide and reckless homicide. Luke was booked into jail and released on bail. The school has placed Luke on unpaid administrative leave, pending the outcome of the case.
According to the police investigation, the couple’s 12-year-old daughter saw her father getting violent while he was arguing with her mother.
She told investigators that her mother was thrown to the ground a few times, and her arm was broken.
The girl was on the phone with a police dispatcher when her mom tried to get away from home with her and her younger sister.
The girl said that her father clung to the window of the car before he was hit. 42-year-old Dan Luke was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries.
