(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, stopped a man after he was spotted wearing a Hello Kitty backpack.
Police were called to the 600 block of 58th Avenue Drive East in Bradenton, after a woman came home and found that her house had been burglarized.
As she entered the home, the thief walked out the back door. Several items were missing from the house, including a Hello Kitty backpack, a laptop, several watches and wallets.
Police drove around the neighborhood and noticed the man wearing the woman’s pink Hello Kitty backpack.
The man went into a nearby residence and ran out the back door without the backpack. After a brief foot chase, 21-year-old Dinzel Gabriel was arrested.
The Hello Kitty bag was found inside the residence. It contained some of the stolen items.
Police said that Gabriel, was wearing one of the stolen watches. He was charged with theft and trespassing an unoccupied residence.
