Police are looking to arrest a teen on a charge of animal cruelty after allegedly setting a live chicken on fire before uploading the video of his act on Facebook, police in the U.S. Virgin Islands said.

The Virgin Islands Police Department said that they are looking for the help of the public to identify the boy who set the chicken on fire and uploaded the video to social media sites.

On Tuesday, investigators were notified of the video that was posted on Facebook. The incident occurred on Saturday around 6:30 p.m.

The video was posted by a user who goes by the name Blacks Lee. The video has also been uploaded to the Facebook Community page titled What’s going on in St. Thomas.

After watching the 47-second clip, investigators learned that the incident took place at the Mutual Homes Housing Community located in Frederiksted.

The video shows the man holding a lighter near the chicken in an attempt to set it on fire. Moments later, the chicken went up in flames and runs a short distance to a road before dying.

Voices could be heard laughing in the background. One teen called it fried chicken. So far, no arrests have been made.
