(Scroll down for video) A hunter is lucky to be alive after getting lost in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Australia for a week.
62-year-old Reginald Foggerdy was found on Tuesday morning by the Tactical Response Group.
The group had been looking for the hunter for six days.
Foggerdy had been on a hunting trip when he left the camp he shared with his brother on Wednesday. The alarm was raised by family members on Thursday morning, sparking a land and air search.
Foggerdy was found 9 miles from the campsite. He was very dehydrated and a little delirious. After receiving some treatment, he was able to talk to his rescuers.
Foggerdy said that for several days he lied under a tree and ate black ants. He did not drink water for seven days. Foggerdy also said that he had been hunting a camel when he got lost.
Foggerdy was taken to the Kalgoorlie hospital, where he is being treated for dehydration.
