(Scroll down for video) A man said that he regrets his actions after shooting at a bar and accidentally killing his female friend.

Dalone Jamison of New York City, who also goes by the name “Smack,” accidentally killed his friend in front of a club in Manhattan.

After the shooting, Jamison, 26, posted a photo to social media, showing him and the victim together at another nightclub in an alleged attempt to prove his innocence.

Jamison was at the Club Motivo, when he got into an argument with a group of people about 4:00 a.m. and was thrown out by bouncers, police said.

Twenty minutes later, Jamison returned with a gun and shot at the club. Three women were injured.

One of the bullets hit his good friend, 24-year-old Walikque Faussett, who is single mother to a 3-year-old boy. She succumbed to her injuries at Bellevue Hospital about 5:20 a.m.

The other two women, Deborah Raji, 30, and Lauren Rondat, 25, were treated and released.

Several witnesses identified Jamison as the shooter, although he tried to deny it by posting a photo to Instagram of himself with Faussett at another club.

After receiving multiple death threats in the comments section, Jamison wrote: “Sleep in peace, that was my friend, I would never dumb sh**.”

“People make up stories and everyone runs with it, I’m not hiding from a crime I didn’t commit, I am always going to be good,” he added.

However, during police interrogations, he told officers that he never meant to shoot his friend.

Jamison was charged with murder, two counts of assault and three counts of criminal possession. He is being held without bail.
