Medford police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Christian Matthew Berry, after being accused of punching the 20-year old woman, who was not identified, because she didn’t bring him food from In-N-Out Burger.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Thursday, a day after the store’s grand opening. When the woman came home without burgers, Berry punched her and beat her with a cane.
The woman was treated at Rogue Regional Medical Center for bruises to her face.
Berry was booked into the Jackson County Jail, and released on bail. He was ordered to stay away from the woman. The couple knew each other for four years.
