A grandfather was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly, stabbing his daughter with a hair brush because she didn’t want to pick up his grandson from school, police in Florida said.
Flagler County police said that they have arrested 64-year-old Charles Scott, after choking his 45-year-old daughter in middle of the night during an argument.
Scott was charged with domestic violence by strangulation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and battery domestic violence.
He was booked into the Flagler County jail, and his bail was set at $32,000.
According to the police investigation, Scott beat his daughter several times and then choked with both hands until she almost fainted.
She told police that Scott stabbed her with the handle of a hair brush four times. The victim’s sister was home at the time and witnessed the attack.
