A convenience store owner and an employee were arrested on a charge of displaying obscene material harmful to minors after allegedly agreeing to sell pornographic material to boys, police in Florida said.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 25-year-old Ahmad Alnobani and 53-year-old Anwar Alnobani, after being accused of displaying pornographic magazines inside their store, which is located near a school.
The police launched their investigation after receiving a complaint about pornographic magazines such as Barely Legal, Hustler and Playboy, being openly displayed for sale.
Ahmad Alnobani is accused of selling two magazines to a minor child. Ahmad Alnobani asked the boy for identification, which showed that he was a minor.
When Ahmad Alnobani was sure that the boy was alone, he offered to sell him pornographic DVDs, which he kept behind a counter.
