Gang ties up married men and rape their wives before throwing them in river

Police are looking to arrest twelve members of a gang, who are accused of tying up a husband raping his wife and throwing him into a river police in South Africa said.

Kensington police said that two married couples were walking together on Saturday afternoon, before they were approached by the armed gang.

They then tied up the husbands and raped one of the women in front of the them. The other woman managed to escape.

After the rape, the two husbands were thrown into the river, where they drowned. The 25 and 32-year-old men were found by police divers in the river early on Sunday.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene, confirmed that they were dead. So far, no arrests have been made.

“Two couples walking in Rhodes Park, were accosted by a gang of 12 on Saturday. The men were bound, thrown in dam and drowned. The bodies were retrieved by SAPS SD,” police said on Twitter.
