(Scroll down for video) A mother was arrested on a charge of contempt of court after allegedly failing to disclose the whereabouts of her young daughter, police in Florida said.

Bradenton police said that they now believe that 31-year-old Keishanna Thomas killed 11-year-old Janiya Thomas, because she suffered from an illness that caused her to spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

According to the police investigation, Janiya had intestinal problems that made it difficult for her to be able to tell when she needed to use the toilet.

Keishanna became frustrated by the health problems of her daughter and kept her locked in the bathroom. Janiya’s father also suffered from the same medical condition before he died.

Around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, police received a phone call from Keishanna Thomas’s relatives, saying that they may have information about the location of Janiya.

The police went to the 5000 block of 21st Way E, and there is where they found the dead body in a freezer. The family members living in the home are the grandmother and aunt of Janiya.

Police said that Keishanna Thomas was seen moving a freezer out of her home on Wednesday, along with the help of an unidentified man.

They later dumped the freezer in the relative’s home.

Keishanna Thomas has three other children. They are currently in the custody of the state.
