(Scroll down for video) A burglar had to be rescued after getting trapped inside a pizza oven vent, police in Michigan said.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested the 32-year-old man, who was not identified, after being accused of trying to rob the Cracker Barrel Pizza shop.
According to the police investigation, around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, passersby heard the suspect shouting for help at the store located at 5500 Oakhill Road.
Police officers who responded to the scene, found the man in the pizza oven vent. The man climbed onto the roof of the building and removed the cover of the vent.
He then tried to enter the building through the vent. He was trapped for more than 11 hours until he was removed by members of the fire department.
The suspect was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and dehydration sustained during the robbery attempt.
