Elephant throws stone at woman’s face knocking out her tooth after being provoked

(Scroll down for video) A young woman who was visiting a zoo in Taiwan, lost a tooth after an elephant threw a stone at her face.

The 26-year-old woman identified as Zhang, was at the Shou Shan Zoo in Kaohsiung, when the elephant attacked her with the stone.

As a result of the attack, the woman suffered a cut to her face and a broken tooth. The tooth had to be replaced with an implant.

The zoo has agreed to pay Zhang’s medical bills.

A warning sign was installed outside the elephant enclosure after Zhang complained that the zoo did not taking the necessary precautions to prevent such accidents.

The 42-year-old elephant named Ali, has an anger problem when visitors provoke it. The elephant has a history of attacking visitors with water, dirt, or feces.
