Man shoots and kills 2 teenage sisters while they listened to music in family minivan

(Scroll down for video) A family was left in shock over the death of 2 teenage sisters.

Police in Ohio, were called at 2:45 a.m. after a man shot and killed his 2 teenage sisters and injured their male friend who was with them.

21-year-old Matthew Hayden shot his sisters and their friend while they were listening to music in the family’s minivan that was parked at the backyard of their Colerain Township home.

Hayden was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

The two victims who died, were identified as 17-year-old Elizabeth and 16-year-old Sarah Hayden. The injured teen was identified as Joshua Hacker. He was shot 10 times and was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is fighting for his life.

Police said that Hayden surrendered as soon as officers arrived and he was taken into custody. The rest of the Hayden family, including his parents and 7 brothers and sisters, were inside the house at the time of the shooting.

A judge set Hayden’s bond at $6 million, $2 million per charge.

Police are still trying to find a motive for the senseless murder. The family had not revealed why they young girls were out of the house at 2:45 a.m.

The family’s spokesperson, Jenn Wallace, said that Hayden’s mother forgave her son for the murder and she is asking people to stop judging him.
