Father encourages son to beat classmate before beating up the teacher for breaking up the fight

A father and his 12-year-old son are facing charges of assault.

Police in Pennsylvania, were called after 34-year-old James Manning of Reading, encouraged his son to beat up an 11-year-old boy.

Manning allegedly watched as his son pushed the other boy in front of a moving vehicle at the Muhlenberg Elementary Center. The two boys continued to fight as Manning encouraged his son to keep going.

When the teacher tried to break up the fight, she was attacked by Manning. He allegedly hit the teacher and pushed her away from the boys.

“Do not ever touch my son or I’ll hurt you,” Manning told the teacher according to witnesses.

Police said that Manning, was verbally abusive to officers and he resisted arrest. He was charged with assault. Police said that they are investigating the incident and Manning’s 12-year-old son may also be charged with assault.

The teacher suffered a minor injury.
