Tokyo police said that they have arrested 54-year-old Masataka Hisada, the owner of the Kappo Hisada restaurant, after being accused of kicking his employee’s private parts.

According to the police investigation, Hisada pushed the 20-year-old employee and kicked him in the groin outside the restaurant.

The employee was taken to a hospital, and it took more than a month to heal. Hisada was charged with inflicting bodily harm.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The victim told investigators that the incident occurred because he had not greeted the chef properly in the morning.

Hisada appears regularly on television and in advertisements.

Investigators are questioning the suspect’s other employees on fears that he might have abused them as well.
